Basically they both suck. If you want to drill a couple thousand 1"-2" holes in concrete buy an Atlas Copco or Wacker internal combustion engine hammer drill. BUT if you must use electric get the $1,000 cheaper Makiita. After Watching this video I forgot to mention how much better the main handle is on the Makita (you can actually fit both hands) than the Hilti, and the Hilti blows an incredible amount of heat onto the users hands, very strange discharge point for the heat, and extremely uncomfortable to use during normal use. ALSO-DO NOT USE BOSCH brand SDS hammer drill bits for your SDSmax. Bosch has changed the design and threw away the quality they where known for. I have at least 15 broken carbide sds max drill bits made by Bosch all purchas in 2011 and 2012. If anyone knows of some better 1.5"SDS Max drill bits I would like to know.
Thanks
