The Custom Case System is a drill bit box with a storage solution that matches the proficiency of the Bosch Impact Tough driver and drill bits. User feedback highlighted a commonality of messy drill bit boxes and an inability to efficiently access bits within the box. Bosch wanted to resolve this issue on the job site.
Drill bit box solutions
The durable drill bit box design provides tilt-in/tilt-out convenience for easy access to the bits. The user can easily tilt the bit in and out at a 90-degree angle for quick access on the job site. Additionally, the drill bit box allows for flexibility between jobs with its ability to remove and interchange clips. Take only the bits needed for a job, instead of the whole drill bit box. This innovative bit storage system allows you to customize configurations, providing flexibility, efficiency and quick access.
Impact Tough™ screw driver bits in the drill bit box
The Custom Case System also works with upgraded Impact Tough™ driver bits and drill bits. The impact screw driver bits deliver an extended life of 10X over that of a standard impact bit. They have an Xtended Torsion Zone to absorb torque peaks to reduce stress on the bit, which is important for today’s high-torque impact drivers. Torque stress at the impact area of the tip is transferred to the zone for tension dissipation. Additionally, the precision drill bits included in the drill bit box provide a direct fit into the screw avoiding broken bits and broken screws. The tips in the drill bit box are precision designed and machined for a better integrated fit. This delivers more torque to the screw, lessens slippage and reduces cam-out damage for a longer lasting bit. The bits also have a high visibility sleeve as well as clear laser markings enabling easy to find bits laying deep in bags or buckets. The heat-treated bit manufacturing provides a stronger and longer-lasting bit. This advanced engineering of the bits in the drill bit box leads to easier access and efficiency on the jobsite
Increased drill bit length
The Custom Case System also works with the high-torque, drilling impact rated line. The bits have been engineered to work with today’s higher-torque impact drivers. For example, if the user is drilling a 1/4" hole in a 2” metal pipe there will be no need to drill one side and then flip the pipe, instead he or she can drill straight through with the increased length of the bit. The Custom Case System drill bit box introduces a storage solution that finally increases organization and productivity by allowing an efficient system for drill bits on the job site.
