This is the first day for me to try out my new battery operated cordless electric lawnmower. It is pretty cool to be able to mow your entire lawn with a battery powered mower. I had used a corded mower 40 years ago when I was a kid, and this was a much better experience. This clip is an introduction to the B&D model SPCM1936, 19 inch, self-propelled, 36 volt cordless electric mower. Plus I compare it to my Torro gas powered mower. It was my first experience with this kind of technology and I was pretty excited about it. I am not an expert on mowers, as I'm sure you will notice, but I have been mowing lawns for close to 50 years on a non-commercial basis. This is the first part of two video clips. The second part is taken over several weeks and shows increasingly taller and thicker grass to cut, with the last part being about as high and thick as any lawn I've ever mowed, so between the two clips the mower gets a good workout.
